LAKESHORE, Ont. - Police call it one of the most shocking and disturbing crimes they’ve seen after a woman allegedly broadcast herself on a webcam having sex with her toddler child and her dog.
“It’s one of those things that just makes your stomach roll,” said Essex County OPP Const. Janet Hayes. “It’s hard to believe there are people out there that can commit these despicable offences, especially against their own child. You can’t comprehend someone that could do something like that.”
The Lakeshore woman — police are keeping her name and age a secret to protect her child’s identity — is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, sexual exploitation and bestiality.
Further charges related to making, possessing and distributing child pornography are possible, once the OPP E-Crimes unit in Orillia finishes a forensic examination of the woman’s computers. Investigators seized several computers from the woman’s home along with other “possible offence related devices.”
Police aren’t revealing the gender or exact age of the baby victim to ensure its identity will remain a secret. The OPP also wouldn’t give details of the alleged sexual activity involving the toddler and the dog, which was a pitbull, but said it was unsettling.
“It was extreme, very extreme behaviour,” said Hayes. “Disturbing. Incomprehensible, just that someone is able to conduct this type of behaviour. A normal person can’t even really comprehend that it’s possible for someone to behave that way. This is very disturbing.”
Police began investigating after a man called Saturday to report that he’d seen a woman online the night before performing the sex acts on a webcam feed. He originally called Windsor police. They contacted provincial police because the woman lived in Lakeshore, which is OPP territory.
Magistrate Gadiel Mariki passed sentence on Tuesday on the trio after finding them guilty of 'forcing a girl to have sex with a dog' in the northern city of Mwanza in March 2008, an official told AFP by phone from the Lake Victoria city.
Job Mlama, 30, Anicet Edward, 30, and Shija Madata, 18, were employed by Canadian mining exploration company, Barrick Exploration Africa Limited (BEAL) at Mwanza, some 800 kilometres north of the capital Dar es Salaam.
They were sacked from their jobs shortly after the incident.
In his judgement, Judge Mariki said the trio lured the schoolgirl into the BEAL workers' campsite, and convinced her to spend the night there before forcing her into bestiality.
The court ordered that the dog, owned by one of the expatriates at BEAL, be turned over to the police, Human rights activists condemned the sentence as too lenient.
'These people deserved the death penalty or a life term. It is a horrible, despicable offence,' said Ichikaeli Maro, the former head of a women's rights group.
'They deserved a punishment that should be a lesson to others with such a habit,' said Rehema Kerefu, director of the Tanzania Women's Legal Aid Committee. -- AFP
Twisted Patricia Newman, 40, had even trained her pet Alsation to have sex with her, a court heard.
She was arrested after police found a video of the vile act.
Newman and her 44-year-old husband Timothy Newman also faced charges for a string of child pornography offences.
He was told he faces jail – after he admitted filming up the skirts of young girls and women in public places.
The pair appeared in court today following the discovery of hundreds of child porn images at their home in Great Wakering, Essex.
The warped couple were charged with 14 counts of making indecent images of children and one count of possessing indecent images of children when they appeared at Basildon Crown Court.
Tubby wife Patricia denied the 15 offences and they were ordered to lie on file.
However she did admit to having sex with an animal – the family’s Alsatian dog.
Her husband admitted all the charges against him except two counts of making indecent images.
He also pleaded guilty to two counts of committing an act of outraging public decency by filming up the skirts of his unsuspecting female victims.
Andrew Jackson, prosecuting, said it was clear from video footage seized from the defendants’ home, the dog had been trained to have sex with Mrs Newman.
But he warned the couple: I am granting you unconditional bail, but you must understand you may well both go to prison.
THIS dramatic picture shows the moment a bodybuilder hurled his pet dog into the sea — before dragging it out by the scruff of its neck.
Police and the RSPCA are investigating after an onlooker took this shocking photograph by the sea in posh Hove, East Sussex.
The witness, who did not want to be named, has handed a series of photos to officers to investigate.Hurled
An onlooker said: "This guy, who is quite well built, simply picked up one of his dogs and hurled it into the sea.
"I couldn’t quite believe what I was seeing. The dog just went flying with its legs out in the air until it hit the water.
"The guy’s other dog was already in the sea swimming, but this one had no choice - it was going in whether it liked it or not."
The man, whose identity is unknown, is then pictured dragging one of his pet dogs out of the water by the scruff of its neck before driving off in a silver Peugeot.
Police were called to the seaside at 2.15pm on Saturday.
Sergeant Chris Lane of Sussex Police said: "We received a call from a member of the public who had reported two dogs being mistreated.
"Two police cars, one marked and one unmarked, were sent to the scene.
"Unfortunately, however, the suspects had already left when they arrived."
The RSPCA confirmed one of its investigators is also studying the pictures.
A source said: "The pictures are quite shocking, but it is unknown whether this man considers it a game and thinks his dogs enjoy it.
"We need to speak to him to clarify the situation."
A WIFE came home early from the shops — and found her husband having sex with their collie dog in the kitchen.
She called police who arrested him on suspicion of bestiality. But they let him off because of insufficient evidence.
A friend said: The whole investigation was a farce. A vet wasn’t even called.
The couple, in their forties from Banwell in Somerset, are now divorcing.
The evil maniac tried to slit two-year-old bull mastiff Arnie’s throat nine times and another two sickening blows exposed the pooch’s spine.
But the butchered pooch was saved by vet Neil McIntosh — and now the blade monster is being hunted by cops.
Horrified Neil said: “This is among the worst cases of animal cruelty I have ever seen.
“The dog had 19 wounds, the most significant of being nine attempts at slashing his neck.
“One of the slashes on his neck could not have been closer to exposing the jugular vein. He was incredibly lucky it wasn’t severed.
“He also has four hack marks on his back, two of which were down to the spinal column.
“On one of his legs the muscle had been hacked down to the shin bone.”
Arnie was reported missing by his owner in Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire, on Wednesday night and found a day later in agony.
Amazingly the brave pet walked into the vet’s WAGGING his tail — despite the deep, painful cuts all over his body — and is now recovering. Neil added: “A nicer dog you couldn’t meet, yet he’s had to have surgery for three hours and has had 92 sutures.”
